[HK] Software Developer (Python/Java)

Responsibilities:

·         Develop software using Python and associated technologies on the post-trade view across Global Markets platform

·         Collaborate with a global development team to leverage global tools and technologies.

·         Provide specific, measurable, and accurate estimates on short timescales in an intellectually challenging environment.

·         Translate business-specific requirements into generic and flexible implementations for reuse.

Requirements:

·         Hands-on programming skills in Python, or Java.

·         Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science.

·         4-5 years of experience working with trading and sales.

·         4-5 years of hands-on experience in Python.

·         Excellent problem-solving and investigative abilities.

·         Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team.

·         Proactive approach to tackling technical problems.

·         Willingness to learn new skills as needed.

·         Understanding of FICC products and the trade lifecycle is a plus.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·         Ability to balance high-quality output with tight deadlines.

·         Willingness to interact with global teams to drive initiatives from the APAC region.
