The SBD is a client-facing role. Working with the Group Strategic Relationship Director (“GSRD”) and global team to understand clients’ strategic needs, the SBD draws upon their technology, industry and consulting skills to deliver the organization’s value as innovative solutions.
Solutions include data, indices, analytics, platform and services from the industry-leading portfolio, combined with the customer’s and third-party technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain the strategic technology client relationships at CxO-level.
- Build deep understanding of the customer’s business and technology requirements.
- Lead the innovation and digital transformation engagements.
- Identify product, service and data opportunities supporting the customer’s needs
- Advocate for the customer within the organization.
- Deliver valued solutions addressing the customer’s immediate and strategic needs.
- Build understanding of strategic customers’ technology and solution requirements.
- Lead and influence global virtual teams to support those needs.
- Identify new business opportunities for the company and partners.
- Build products into sales of customer-valued innovative solutions.
- Engage in technology and fintech industry forums and events.
- Bring expertise and the voice of the market to the industry.
- Develop industry technology expertise and promote solutions.

Requirements:
- Senior-level experience within finance technology, consulting, sales or cloud industries
- Deep understanding of products, data and services used in the financial industry in Japan.
- Proven ability at managing and building senior (CxO-level) relationships in Japan.
- Ability to lead complex and strategic financial-technology discussions and create solutions.
- Fluent Japanese and English language required.
- Global working experience desirable.
