FX Client Services Specialist

Our client, a leading cloud-based provider of electronic foreign exchange (FX) trading solutions for the global financial marketplace is hiring! We are looking for FX Client Services Specialist to support internal and external stakeholders on the order and execution management system (OEMS).

  • Work alongside sales, account managers and integration teams within region to form part of 24/6 coverage.
  • Deploy and upgrade production trading systems. As the team run a 24x6 production service, some tasks can only be carried out during the weekend
  • Overall responsibility of the production service
  • Create and maintain client facing service alerts
  • Build, implement and tune monitoring systems to provide advance notification of potential client impact
  • Capacity planning across all production environments
  • Incident management
    • Quickly assess and prioritise incidents
    • Investigate and troubleshoot incidents keeping the client updated throughout
    • Manage your own open incidents and those of the team as required
    • Perform system health checks to ensure faultless service operation for the duration of the service window
  • Conduct a thorough handover with remote regions for a follow-the-sun support model
  • Any other duties that will help fulfil our mission and drive client satisfaction.


    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in FX e-trading client and application support
    • Deep understanding of the FIX protocol
    • Experience working at the Linux command line
    • Knowledge of a modern programming or scripting language. While this is not a developer role, the ability to understand code and write simple scripts will be an advantage.
    • A detail orientated and client first approach to support
    • Ability to adjust communication style to the audience, using technical terminology and business acumen as appropriate
    • Self-motivated and proactive attitude to IT Service Management
    • Excellent organisational and communication capabilities as well as analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to maintain good humour under pressure
