Desktop Support Engineer



Hong Kong    Helpdesk / Desktop Support    Contract   

We are looking to hire a Desktop Support Engineer for a leading Investment Bank to support business users.

  • Provide desktop support and trade floor support to internal users
  • Troubleshoot issues related to desktop, domain, system, server and network
  • Incident diagnosis and resolution 
  • Perform system and hardware updates, upgrades, and monthly check up
  • Provide regional infrastructure support when necessary 
  • Participate in various relocation and migration projects
  • Document all reported incidents and service requests via ticketing system

  • Higher diploma or above in Computer Sciences, Information Technology or related disciplines
  • At least 2+ years’ experience in IT technical support
  • Good knowledge on Windows desktop operating systems and servers
  • Good knowledge on computer hardware and networking
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Good command of verbal English and Cantonese
  • Hands on experience in Microsoft Infrastructure Configuration (Office 365, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFSR, SharePoint)
  • Experience in virtualization (ESXi, Hyper-V) will be advantage
  • Experience in network management will be advantage
  • Experience in Linux Support will be advantage
