Job description

Our client, a Global E-Commerce Company specializing in the marketing of health, beauty and home-care products is looking for talented Desktop Support to join their team in Tokyo. The role will provide exceptional Level 2 and Level 3 Support to users within the company. Our client is looking for a driven individual with great communication and interpersonal skills to work in a multicultural environment.

Job responsibilities

Provide desktop/laptop, VDI, mobile devices and video-conferencing support

Provide support when issues/requests are escalated from Service Desk or when requires

Resolve level 2 and 3 issues for Windows, Mac, Microsoft office and desktop applications

Order and install new hardware, software, printers and non-standard hardware required for specific applications

Assist with control and development of the standard desktop image

Participating in testing, piloting, distribution and monitoring of automated software roll outs and hardware

Interact with users on desktop problems and their resolution

Handle all client related ticket requests assigned by tickets

Able to provide support for VIP users and Executive support

Maintain inventory for PC and peripheral devices

Administer Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, Mobile Device Management and other Desktop Support tools

Create and maintain manuals and documents for support

Investigating and resolving any issues related with users including PCs and mobiles

Working with Global Desktop team for any desktop related activities and to collaborate to investigate and resolve issues

Job requirements

Experience in Desktop Support

Able to confidently provide Level 2 and Level 3 support

Japanese and English ability

Great communication and interpersonal skills
