RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work as a part of a local development team, contributing to system design and development of
global and local applications of middle/back offices. - Interact with business analyst, users, and global and/or local application teams to clarify
requirements and decide priorities. - Provide functional/technical documents according to business requirements and design
functions. - Provide 3rd level support assistance to the Production Support team, to enable effective and
timely support of the production environment. - Deliver required solutions within reasonable amount of timeline as expected by the application
team manager. - Understand the team’s priority and ensure work is performed in the order of priority in Agile
method. - Proactively communicate with application team manager (or members) to ensure there is no
gap in understanding of priorities, expectations on timelines. - Ensure all support items requiring L3 attendance is appropriately handled, either by providing
solution within timeframe acceptable by business, or by escalating to team manager (or
member) if any issue remain unresolved.

Requirements (indicate any mandatory and/or preferred credentials):
Mandatory
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong system design and development skills.
- Knowledge and working experience in Linux, Sybase / RDBMS, MQ, JAVA.
- Experience or understanding of SCC (source code management - like Git / SVN)
- Experience or understanding of in CI/CD and DevOps
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in finance or IT industry.
- Must be a team player, flexible to work on multiple applications, have passion for
improvement/innovation and willingness to learn and implement new technologies. - Good communication skills using English to interact with global counterparts.
Preferable - Japanese and English bilingual.
- Work experience or understanding on Spring, Hibernate frameworks
- Work experience or understanding of Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience of Global system development in Agile methodology
- Business knowledge of wholesale middle/back-office flow of a security brokerage.
