Background Information:

We are hiring Java Developer which sits within a Global financial services group who are responsible for developing the front office Fixed Income applications. The platform is an in-house developed system and contains a series of processes tailored for the business requirements.

The team is geographically spread across the client’s offices worldwide and is an important and expanding business and technology space. The team supports technology solutions for the business. There are resources located in various offices globally.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop front office fixed income applications
Work in a high-pressured environment across geographical boundaries and work with numerous teams across technology to ensure that the production systems are developed and maintained to a high standard
Build strong trust-based relationships with other technology groups in various offices in the region and globally who we work with and depend on for global and follow the sun cover
Build strong trust-based relationships with the business and gain a good understanding of their processes

Key Requirements:

At least 10 years of experience working in IT in application development
Proficient in Java core fundamental programming
Ability to work in heavily multithreaded application
Spring Boot framework including data JPA
Strong communication and team working and leading capabilities
Junit and Mockito frameworks are required
GIT and Jenkins working knowledge
Design patterns in-depth knowledge is required. Applicant will require to design multi-system interaction
Experience working with supporting TIBCO EMS using JMS
Experience in TIBO RV
SQL/Database skills
