Overview:
We are hiring Business Analyst cum Project Manager to support our client a global investment bank.
The BA cum PM will be responsible for applications to manage the collateral business processes across four lines of businesses – OTC Derivatives, Fixed Income, Futures & Options (Exchange Traded Derivatives) and Prime Brokerage.
We are currently implementing a multiyear initiative to setup a single strategic platform to support all the four lines of businesses. This position will be part of the large initiative to implement this global strategic platform. We will be leading the development of architectural changes to the platform as well as seeking opportunities to innovate on technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and document detailed business requirements
- Bridge communication with developers, management and business stakeholders.
- Enable development teams across various locations to understand the requirements
- Document test plans, cases and conduct in-depth testing
- Provide structured status reporting on the overall progress of the projects
- Coordinate user acceptance testing and conduct training
- Communicate with all stakeholders across various locations on all project related matters
- Provide necessary support to the development teams to clarify any functional requirements

Requirements:
- Min 8 years of strong experience in banking, business analysis, testing and project management areas
- Strong financial markets background and a good understanding of Collateral management business processes is a definite plus
- Strong analytical skills required to understand complex business requirements and document them in simple and clear language for development teams.
- Strong understanding of the test-driven approach and the ability to perform in depth testing of any application / solution, write test plans, test cases, scripts etc.
- Able to provide structured reporting of the project progress and various other metrics to senior management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio etc.
- A good team player and collaborative. You will be expected to liaise with both technical and business colleagues locally in Singapore and at other locations in UK, India, New York and Chicago.
- An innovative mindset. Not afraid to ask why and question established practices, always looking to own and improve quality.
