ITCS Group appointed to develop significant components of the Bank's proprietary Order Management System, within the Equities division in Hong Kong. As part of the project, ITCS has developed DMA (Direct Market Access) functionality for several markets, crossing and several smaller Business requirements. ITCS has provided the development for the launch of the OMS in new countries like India and major upgrades in Australia, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore.

Our client, one of the world's top 10 investment banks, engaged ITCS Group to assist their internal staff with the new datacenter build-out, relocation and decommissioning of their existing datacenter in the Tokyo area. The objective of the project was to build and fit out a 15,000 sq. ft. site including building construction, structured cabling, racks, network and telecommunications infrastructure, server infrastructure, and market data services. Approximately 1500 new servers were purchased and installed into the new datacenter. ITCS Japan provided on-site consulting services covering project management, datacenter management, external vendor management and engineering support throughout the duration of the project.

Global Investment Bank appointed ITCS Group to provide Telecoms Expense Management / Business Analyst services for an Asia-Pacific wide telecommunications review programme. ITCS Group was appointed to help realise substantial telecoms costs savings and increased functional and operational efficiencies across the bank. Following a review, a number of cost saving opportunities were identified and ITCS were further engaged to assist in the implementation of the programme that covered Voice and Data circuits, Trader Voice, Mobile, Audio and Video conferencing services.

ITCS Group was appointed to manage the office IT setup including the 6 trade desks. ITCS was responsible for IT design, procurement, project management and implementation. The project was successfully completed in 28 days.

ITCS Group appointed to provide the Lead Developer and development team that included the Global Program Management and head of PM teams. The appointment included the launch and off-shoring pilot for 10 development staff, the definition and implementation of processes for a Global Software vendor and overall program management (Implementation of Project Initiation Process, Business and Functional Requirements gathering Process, Estimation Process and Change Control Process)

ITCS Group was appointed to lead the Trading Floor Relocation from Akasaka to the Shin-Marunouchi Building in Tokyo. It was a significant project that included the move of approximately 2000 Employees and included a simultaneous Windows 2000 to Windows XP migration across 3500 PCs inclusive of 250 Traders (Equities, Fixed Income, IBD). In addition to the overall relocation and upgrade program ITCS Group were also responsible for the Desktop Consolidation Program and Unix workstation retirement which Included retiring 800 UNIX Workstations and migrating applications onto the new Windows Desktop environment.

Following the acquisition of another bank, our client needed to create a Unified Infrastructure across Asia Pacific with the program requiring application integration, consolidation and migration to ensure that the underlying application infrastructure conformed to the banks standards, and that all components of the application, including security, monitoring, patching, maintenance, back-ups, and deployment, are compliant. The project scope includes all applications hosted across the four primary data centre hubs in Asia Pacific; namely Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo.

Our client, a leading US based cabling system manufacturer, was awarded the contract to supply the IT cabling infrastructure required for the relocation of Global Investment Bank in Hong Kong. The project included the relocation of 2,000 staff, the building of 2 Communication rooms (3,000 square feet) and 2 data centers (4,500 square feet) within a 9 month time frame. With the tight project schedule, ITCS Group was appointed to provide the project management services as part of our client's solution to the bank. ITCS acted as the main vendor interface for all the concurrent sub-projects and managed the interaction between the Bank's corporate services and facilities teams, the Bank's IT teams and the vendors teams on the production, delivery, product quality and design issues. The project was completed successfully in Q4 2009.

ITCS Group was appointed to provide IT PMO reporting services as part of an ongoing Managed Service. Following the transition of the regional IT reporting function into the Project Management group, ITCS worked with the client's management team to assess the processes and structure of the regional reporting processes and responsibilities. New processes were implemented to ensure consistent and transparent views of programmes and projects across the region.

ITCS Group was appointed to provide Project Management services for the Wealth Management software development for a major Investment Bank. The project included simulator development and Off-shoring to China which required the setup of a new China development center, currently housing 150 developers (2007). ITCS Group project managed the Wealth Management Software worldwide across international distributed teams including sole responsibility for start-up in Panama and major upgrades in Japan. In addition, ITCS were responsible for implementing a Process Improvement Program (CMMI and Six Sigma) and defined and implemented Build and Packaging standards, source code layout and strategy, release management process and improved the overall SDLC.

ITCS Group appointed for Data centre selection and RFP process. ITCS undertook site visits and reviews of potential Data Centres, performed due diligence analysis and carried out contract negotiation on behalf of our client which included the management of procurement packages and RFP development including MandE, location, risk, options and costs. Upon site selection, ITCS Group Project Managed the Data Centre relocation including the migration and implementation of all servers, storage (EMC), Clusters and network equipment. The project required close co-ordination with the customer's UK headquarters to ensure live-live migration and included BCP site testing, failover testing and conducting of BCP drills.

ITCS Group recently completed a Top Tier 1 Japanese Banking clients Speakerbus system endpoint upgrade to the latest technology. The ITCS technical team completed the upgrade seamlessly and successfully right first time.

Client migration of end users to new CISCO IPT solution from legacy Avaya system in place across 11 countries, 22 locations with ~20,000 legacy users and multiple legacy voice recorders.

Centralised PMO and L3 eng team for core configuration with L1/L2 local engineering for physical swap of endpoint and user training.

Entire region end points swapped successfully and new voice recording technology deployed whilst maintaining compliance access to retained recordings and data.

As a security expert in Financial Technology, ITCS is the preferred security partner delivering IT Regulatory Advisory service to different financial institutions. ITCS has provided cybersecurity advisory on SFC IT regulations, and supported their SFC IT audit meetings. Having reviewed and upgraded their IT infrastructure based on SFC requirements, ITCS has been supporting the overall IT environment of the firm for 2+ years, including their IT infrastructure and day-to-day operations.

Our client, a leading US Investment Bank, awarded ITCS Group the APAC regional Voice Services onsite support for Level 2 & 3 High touch and remote office support of mission critical Voice Services. These services include ready for business checks, complex desk moves adds plus changes, incident management and resolution, operational documentation development, change management and execution of run the bank projects. This service is now in it's 3rd year of operation and covers all the major trading voice, network and back office systems technologies found within the Investment Banking environment. Our onsite technicians work as partner to the full time bank staff and have been successful in achieving efficiencies for the client through streamlining of operational processes within the bank plus proactively reporting on fault trending so as to avoid major incidents in the infrastructure.

One of the top tier global Asset Management firms based in Tokyo awarded ITCS Japan to program manage and execute their office relocation in Tokyo. As part of this project, our engineers prepared all equipment for relocation, removed all legacy cabling from the old office location and successfully setup and commissioned all technologies for users and conference rooms in the new office. After the completion of the relocation project our engineers have been providing ongoing support for the desktop technologies.

ITCS Japan was awarded the contract for an office restack project at one of the Global Investment Banks in Tokyo. The project consisted of consolidating the existing seven floors to five floors, while moving over 700 staff across all floors, including trading floor as well as middle and back office. The project was completed in phases over a span of 6 months without disrupting the daily business. ITCS Japan provided full project management and hands-on support to successfully complete the office restack, well ahead of time, in budget and with no downtime on business operations.

Our client, a real estate investment management group concentrates on development and operation of hospitality, retail, entertainment and commercial real estate assets engaged ITCS as their IT Support service provider to maintain their IT infrastructures and rely on ITCS to ensure they have 24/7/365 access to their networks. ITCS also help them to migrate existing email system to cloud-based office 365 and migrated their existing file server to SharePoint Online.
